Thanks for sharing these nice photos of PT 3 in the RCAF. PT 3 is still sitting in a boatyard in New Jersey awaiting rescue.

Thanks for sharing. Great early war photos. These are the first I've seen where it looks like there is a gun mount under the canvas. I wonder what type of mount the RCAF used?

I admit to not being much of an expert, but isn't that boat in the lower photo, next to PT-3, one of the 70' Canadian Power Boat Company high-speed launches?

Also, from some other photos on the internet, I thought it interesting to see the extensive use of longitudinal outer planking over the entire PT-3 hull and deck. I'm assuming the rounded deck edge eliminated any weak hull-deck seam issues while providing a strong outer skin. Anybody have any research on the design and construction info/drawings on PT-3 they would be willing to share? I found some great info in the Norman Friedman U.S. Small Combatants.
