I am always a bit sad when family members put up artifacts for sale. This was the case when the artifacts from Harold Marney sold at a Boston Auction house for $200,000. Last year I had his Family at my home for Lunch when discussing the new Harold Marney Stone at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, and my attempts to have a Harold Marney Exhibit at the Springfield Museum. I had even stated that I would love to have something from Marney for my Exhibit. They didn't commit to my request, but they would see. I am not sure why they decided to sell these Historical items, but someone with deep pockets got them. Below is the link to that Auction. http://www.rrauction.com/bidtracker_detail.cfm?IN=1043
