Hi All,

I compiled some materials I found for Mr. Willis and will make them available as I convert them to PDF.

MTB-RON-19's Administrative Log for 22-April, 1943 to 31-December, 1943.

http://home.centurytel.net/wwii3945/RON19ADMINLOG1943-S.zip
45-pages PDF/ZIP 17mb

I did a very small amount of editing for obvious reasons and added the cover for fun, if anyone has a sharper scan of 19's insignia, I would appreciate a copy.

Best Regards,
Robert

Robert,
Thank you so much for files! My dad was in RON19 and this really helped me to get an idea of how difficult life was for the PT boaters. I saw Moran one name my dad had mentioned from that time. Though he never talked much about his war experiences, you could tell how much it shaped his life. Again, thank you.

Sam

Dear Mr. Bernik,

When I joined the forum a couple of weeks ago, I was elated to find Mr. C.J. Willis, a veteran of RON-19 was posting his war experiences from RON-19 so, I thought he might enjoy reading thru some of the files I found.

I was not able to locate the Admin Logs for 1944 or 1945 but I found the Monthly War Diary of the Squadron and then the Action reports submitted by each boat.

If you have the Boat Number(s) you father served on, I will be happy to look to see what's available. You can post the information or send me a private message.

Best Regards,
R.Robert Palmer
