The family of Joseph Cirlot (motor mac from PT305 ) visited the museum and donated a lot of his personal memorabilia from the war.

The christening pennant from the antenna and the battle flag flown on the 305when in the Mediterranean and photo
of his wife that was pinned too his rack doing the war.

A German flag that was shipped home doing the war and later signed by members of Ron 22 at a reunion.

The coffee mug and sugar bowl from the galley.
Some 200 to 300 photos.
Copy's of deck logs and action reports and much more.

I love seeing artifacts going to places like this. You know that future generations will enjoy them. In the future just send some to me please, just kidding......well maybe not.

Randy;
Nice collection of Items! Can you enlarge photos of that flag, I would like to see if John Iles name is there, I can't find any info on if he was in RON 15, 22, or 29 when he transferred out to Med, after RON 2 and 5 in the Pacific and RON 4 Melville, He then returned to Melville as Skipper of PT 141 RON 4.
