Great post, Earl.

You, and all the rest of your "Iron Men" shipmates who crewed the PTs, are a large part of the reason the rest of us are so fascinated with the histories and memories of the boats.

Thanks, and keep posting!

Earl

What a great inside look at the every day life of those that served on these wonderful wooden boats in the Pacific area. Your quick and right to the point post was a joy to read and is the very reason why I continue to put on my Exhibits. Educating those that know little of the PT BOAT NAVY will always be my quest for guys like you and all others who served.

God Bless, Earl. You are one of the Good Guys, and it helps to remind me why this message board came to be and what it is really all about....
