	I would be interested to know if there were any live torpedo firing test done in the waters off Newport, R.I. I have found that the torpedo station there did arrange live firings, submarine, surface warship, and aircraft dropped, against Bald Porcupine Island, Bar Harbor, Maine. I have not found any evidence that PT's were involved in live fire exercises there. Jonathan
