How do you get the medical papers? My father was in RON 24, mostly in New Guinea....died young after the War....Boston MA.

Going through this myself today. http://www.archives.gov/research/order/standard-form-180.pdf Should get you the info you'll need if it is available. Hard part is knowing where he was treated. Good luck.

Thanks,I did get info from e-vets but medical info was not available due to a fire. Dont understand why because he was in the Navy and from what I have read the destroyed records were Army!
