I had a series of finds in the Bureau of Ships PT boat camouflage documents a couple of years ago - a collection of documents on experiments with minimizing or eliminating the visible wake from PT boats. I have now got the documents I scanned in OCR'd and posted, with a central landing page started (title image is missing text at this point) for (hopefully) quick and easy reference on the topic. No photos of the early experiments were included, but I hope to have more of the 1945 rig posted in the near future. For now, if the topic interests you, the documents are at:

PS - Al, it turns out that the copies of these documents were saved in a bad organization. I'm not sure yet if it was my fault or the records were out of order, but I'm going to type up a change sheet for you so that they can be grouped as they should be and not how they are.
