Hello All,
We visited Bob's Dad and his Uncle's graves at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery here in MN. I made a little plaque for his dad. I think it is against the rules, but I had already made it before I learned that, so we put it there anyway, figuring the worst that would happen is that they would take it away.
Bob's uncle also served in WWII in the South Pacific, on a ship.
I plan to investigate his story next. My husband Bob was very close to his Uncle, he had no children of his own, so they did a lot together.

that was very nice julie.good photos of the cemetary tooo. i think i have seen photos of this cemetary somewhere before as i recogniize the row of flags shown there..
