This photo is described in a few places as PT 600, it is not, due to the location of the Rocket stowage and roll off racks, this has to be PT 613 or later.
Take care,
TED
P.S. notice no fire extinguisher is mounted near aft turret. where were they if they were on deck?

All;
I recently noticed a group of photos on a blog site of PT 617, as the person is using this boat as a reference to model PT 615. In one of the photos of PT 617 I noticed an extra addition I have not seen on any other boat(reference photo above which I have determined is a 613 or later boat). Notice the angled portion behind the engine room hatch/vent. Is this another "PT 617 only" modification that was done to 617 during restoration, to probably provide extra headroom for visitors lucky enough to tour the engineroom?
Any Ideas?
Take care,
TED

Ted, when I was researching the very limited number photos of the 613 class boats for the 623, build, I never came across that hatch addition. I think it's a one of a kind tourist refit. Love the top photo. Another very rare example of those changes made to the 613 - 624 boats.
