I've manipulated some new documents Bridge wanted to share with all who are interested. Bridge purchased them from the National Archives while researching some info after reading a the book "Water in my Veins", They regard RON 9 and several PT's such as 118, 157 and the 109. I've divided the material into 5 separate doc's, Deck Logs and Action Reports.
If interested please navigate to the "Free PT Documents" page by using the clickable link in the above mast head.
Thanks for contributing Bridge, all contributions to share with others are always welcome. If you have documents and some-whats to share please contact me.
Thanks again to all that have contributed,
Dick . . .

Nice work with PT 127 Docs, I went to college in the 1980's with PT 127's TM3/C Lyman Schoffstall's(Feb 44-Feb 45) grand-daughter Lori.
Also, looking at the documents, it is interesting to know who signed for PT 127's RON 12 final inspection and disposition at Base 17, LT. David "Hogan" Levy(RON 2, 3, 4, 23, 12, Base 17)! He very briefly mentions this on Page 83 of his book.
Take care,
TED

Bridge,
Thanks for all your work documenting the history of the PT boats. I wish I could have been in Mount Airy, North Carolina last fall to meet Welford West and Bud Liebenow. (Not to mention a chance to meet Betty Lynn (Thelma Lou). I'm sure I'm not the only baby-boomer to have a major crush on her back n the 1960's.) That was a once in a lifetime experience and if I hadn't had surgery that month, I'd have been there.
The caption on page 75 of your book, "First Up': ("1960-A couple of former PT Skippers") was worth the cover price alone.
