Hi All,

Was wondering if anyone has the computed (or estimated) value of the 80' Elco aspect ratio, as well as the estimated maximum (or any) suction loads (either tons or %)?

I've got the Higgins at an aspect ratio of .3 and max suction loads of 8 tons and the older 77' Elco with an aspect ratio of .2 that increases to as high as .3 with suction loads due to squatting (I also do not have any 77' suction load measurement).

The lower the suction load, the closer the planing hull is to the ideal constant section planing surface.

Thanks,
Andy
