My albatross..........sadly she no longer exists. Nearly broke me and my marriage. I think I finally stopped paying for it about 4 to 5 years ago.
I still often think how great it would be to have a restored Elco running along the East Coast for all to experience. I do not think there is a lottery big enough that my wife will ever let me try again.

Jim;
I hope she is worth it.
just kidding!!
While I too was sad to hear 761 was gone, because I don't think there is another one out there awaiting restoration, in as decent and original a shape as she was(including the Kingston Boats). we all must still forge ahead and continue to buy those lottery tickets!!!! Because your idea of a boat running up and down the east coast is not only yours, but it has been mine too, since I first stepped onto PT 48's deck. I have Virginia's lottery and power ball covered, and I know Frank is covering Massachusetts and power ball !
I also know if I hit it REALLY, REALLY big, there will not be only 1 boat running up and down the east coast, but at least 4!!!
Take care,
TED
