Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our PT Boat veterans, authors, researchers, modelers, and enthusiasts.

I thank all our veterans for their service, and to all the others who write, research, model, and visit and post on this great site, for all your shared knowledge and expertise.

May the Lord watch over, guide, and keep you and yours safe from all harm this coming New Year, and always.

Earl, your still posting here is a gift to all of us. You and other PT veterans answer questions nobody else can, or has thought of to ask. I always enjoy reading what you have to say, thank you very much.

A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to every one on the board. I have not been near a computer for a few days. Am now in the mountains of Colorado. Earl were you on Treasury Christmas 1943? If so I guess you cooked my dinner. We had turkey with all the trimmings at the base chow hall. Had been on patrol Christmas Eve. We were issued 2 bottles of beer after dinner. The first beer we had had since starting patrols in November 1st. We also had grapefruit juice and medical alcohol served with dinner. No patrols Christmas night.
