I reworked my airplanes poster.

Thanks for the Post, you don't realize just how many planes the Allies had during the Pacific Campaign.

I hate to be a crank, but you need to do some more homework. You have a P-40 in Aleutians campaign markings and your F6F Hellcat on the bottom is in 1945 markings for CV-12 Hornet. Fuchida's Kate in Pearl Harbor markings.....

That said, it's a great concept and could be awesome!

Nice Nat, thanks for sharing your update!

I dubbed the Japanese Betty the frankenplane, the fuselage looks like it is stitched together. Almost like they took an extra nose and added it on for a tail.

Hi Nat . . .

I apologize for a complete lack of civility in a previous post. We all can't be all-knowing experts, rude and condescending.

The main reason I frequent this board is to learn from the many that know a lot more than I. Please feel free to expand my knowledge on all things PT.

Were you referring to my post, or was there one that was deleted?

Nat, I think your presentation is outstanding. In my day (Feb 1942-June 1944) I would always do poorly on airplane recognition, much less distinguish on the difference in the markings. Oh, I could tell a Corsair from a P-51 but that was about it. Fortuately, other members of the crew excelled at it. Maybe that is why they always kept me in the chartroom when we went into "Battle Stations". P.S. The same thing applies to cars. It must be a gift for some people.

Thank you for the poster and info. Now when my F-I-L tells me they were working with the "Black Cats" or "AiraCobra" or whatever else, I'll be able to put a plane to the name. ( Pretty sorry for a 23 year AF veteran

Is this a commercially available poster? Or would I be able to have it printed to poster size?
