The following is a move-by-move description of
the battle and the PT boats roles in the battle.
Interestingly, battleship Mississippi was one of
the US ships forming the Crossing the Tee
formation...my dad had served aboard her when
he was in USMC 1925-29 out of San Pedro, CA
West Virgina which had been heavily damaged
at Pearl Harbor was the first battleship to open
fire on the advancing Japanese battle force.
