Lets all take a moment to remember the events that took place, this day 72 years ago, and remember all the heroes both departed and here with us that changed the course of history when the sleeping giant awoke. God bless you all.

I like to hug the occasional tree, but when out in the woods I also like to have a gun handy. Pearl Harbor is an event that should never be forgotten, by citizens of ANY political leaning or country.

Roy;
As a result my Dad, my Uncle, and Dad's best friend were standing, with many others, outside 90 Church Street NYC the next day. By the end of the week, as a result of his and his friends New York Naval Militia service and his NY Tel . Job, he and his friend were both appointed Chief Yeoman and assigned to the ONI. Office for 3rd Naval District in 90 Church St.. soon they were set to many schools and were then using their new "craft" all over the five Burroughs of NYC. My uncle was turned away for being too young at the time,, he was 17, he later joined the USCG and went to the Pacific.
