I spent a full day at the National Archives - Boston.
A day well spent.
The staff was great and helpful.
When you are there you get free access to Fold3 and Ancestry as well.
The Original Document room is a surprising source of information.

The go-to guy ata the National Archives - College Park is Nathaniel Patch.
The go-to guy at the National Archives - Boston is another Nathaniel.
I guess we cornered the market.

Bring your computer, your flash drive and your camera. Lunch is 2 miles away.

Is the location of the Archives in Waltham MA, or the State Archives in Boston?

Chilling and heart-warming to read at the same time on this day of remembrance, December 7, 72 years later.

I second Nathaniel Patch. We lost some great archivists to retirement, but he honestly wants to help and is only 20 or so years behind them!
