Hi All! Just talked to Frank and he's been getting inquires as to the progress of PT 302. When the cold hit I got busy with a lot of chores getting ready for winter. To top that I'm getting ready for a move from CA. to NV. I just got a house in Fernley NV and will be moving the first part of Dec. As far as PT 302 goes I've had to slow down, I've been doing details on the hull, chart house, and finishing the deck. Everything still looks about the same as the last photographs that were posted, I trying a different process on the deck, the deck is painted a faded deck blue with dark gray groves, then brought smooth with clear lacquers and sanding, lots of curing time. It will have the appearance of a photograph of a very used and worn deck when complete. It's been a big learning curve. But I'm happy to say the deck is almost done and the whole project is not to far away from completion. I'll be posting more photos when things start going together.

That looks beautiful Bob. That has to be a pain to move in the middle of a build. Does it snow where you are going and how far east into NV from where you are now is it?

Hi Roy, Intresting things on PT 623. I'm moving to Fernley NV. It's 33 miles East of Reno. About 130 miles closer to you.

I'm not really that familiar with PT Boats but as as far i see on your pics, its still looking good even though that kind of boat as I have researched is rather old already because PT boats were a variety of torpedo-armed fast attack craft used by the United States Navy way back in World War II.
