Now you guys that want to try weathering know what to do with your old Lindberg boats, practice dummys!
Well written Stu, I was able to follow the process in my head while I read. But the resultant mess didn't look anything like your boat.
Once again, thanks for sharing your work and for taking the time to write your guide.

Thanks for the tips Stu. I did watch a few You-Tube videos on color modulation and found it really interesting. This to, like so many things in our hobby is certainly going to be an acquired skill. I just can't stop going over those photos.

Thanks, Roy.
Start with the easy techniques like the mottling to break up the large slab of colour. You can easily cover it up if you are not happy. The washes etc. are really simple to pull off.
