Thanks Kieth, always glad to help an AMS patient! I hope you're able to dig up some bridge images, I had the same trouble with my earlier series project. I still haven't found one of the pre-radar mast rest...

Tracy, Al posted some photos of folding berths here: http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?fid=102&cid=101&tid=2290&st=10&nd=20&pg=1&sc=20

Nice work as always Jeff!

There is a line of beautiful 3D ship books out there. I purchased one for the USS Arizona recently. It would be great to see your work in that format. If you don't mind wearing red and blue sun glasses! :-)

David, do any of these look 3D with your glasses? If so, let me know if anything looks funky with it:

Jeff, I lost my 3D glasses somewhere. I bought some on ebay that just suck. What I need are the real chip ones. Maybe somebody has a pair laying around. I just ordered some from ebay. I'll let you know how they work if somebody else doesn't first.

Dave,
Just get some red and green toffee wrappers and stick them to your eyelids

Best Regards,
Stu.

Jeff, I got my cheap paper 3D glasses and the 2nd picture is perfect. It has a full 3D effect and there is no misalignment at all. I'm going to buy up the remaining stock of glasses because everyone will want to see your drawings in 3D! :-)

Very cool David, thank you. I'm going to dig up a pair of glasses and check it out.

After you mentioned the 3D book, I did a search to see what was involved and found a plugin for the program I use. Some nice guy wrote it for work then generously made it freely available. I wasn't sure which output type worked with the red / blue glasses so posted all the likely formats the plugin put out. They are low quality renders so they look grainy, I didn't want to wait hours for higher in case the plugin didn't work well but when I get a chance I'll do a better one and send it to you.

The last render reminds me of the way the world looks after a 3 day bender... er... so I'm told. I wouldn't know.
