One of the toughest things for model builders is what to use as a crew on the 1/35 Italeri Kits. This is what I am finding out now, Stan will be doing a Diorama showing PT Boat next to an LCVP. On the boat will be Marines with injured. I have the Marines, I have the LCVP, I even have the Stretchers for the men. Here comes the problem. What the heck am I going to use for the crew of the boat. Any help would be great, and I would be more than happy to pay someone to assemble a crew for the PT, with pants, shorts, whatever. Stan is amazing when it comes to boat and ship building but he admits not that good at figures and painting the figures. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you give Frank Ryczek a call. Remember he made and painted all those awesome 1/35 crew members for the Italeri PT 374 diorama you have.

Ahoy there Frank.

What sort of scenario are you planning for the crew - combat or relaxed?

How many PT crew figures are you looking for?

Cheers from Peter

Hey Pete, I want to depict the crew relaxed but with some of them at the ready in case of any Plane attack. I would like the Skipper and XO at the Helm, at least 4 or 5 sailors helping with the transfer of Marines, One in the starboard side turret, and may two of them at the 20mm stern area and engine room. I would prefer them in shorts, but pants would be fine all wearing shirts or tee shirts, boondockers for shoes, brown, I would not mind if a couple had on helmets, but painted OD Green and not Gray. The look should be worn pants, faded blue jeans, Skipper and XO in Tan pants and Shirts.

Ahoy there Frank.

Want me to send you some Tamiya British 8th Army lower torsos? They have shorts but you'll need to file/sand of the high socks = mid calf.

Cheers from Peter

Pete I have that Kit of British Men, which as I look at it, should help with the boat crew. Thanks very much for the offer, it was very nice of you.

Ahoy there Frank.

It's always nice when we model builders can help each other.
