Ah Master, I fear that in collating what spake those on this Board it has turned your mind to the dark side.

This does not bode well for you "for one who is" the very Model of a modern Major Gen-e-ral..!

And as far as Torpedos go you have been fiddling around with that 37mike-mike for far to long.........!

(You know that painting in a small enclosed room has strange effects) At least it says that on the can (I think) at least the cat had sense to leave after telling me off.

Frank

You may have seen my screen name on other sites, but I have never posted on any web forum under any other name.

The name goes back to 1998 when I purchased a 62 Bel-Air 409 from a gentleman in Ohio, and some of my first web experiences were on different automotive sites, and since the 62 Bel-Air coupe was a popular and sought after vehicle I felt it was a good screen name.

I was not being belligerent in any manner, just posting my thoughts and opinions on the subject, and certainly not attempting to cause a problem. Seems my words ruffled someone's feathers. Certainly not my intention.

For the record, you didn't ruffle my feathers, I enjoyed taking with you abut the subject. That's why we have this forum, to learn, and to help others that have questions about the boats, bases, and tenders.

Those were my thoughts also on the purpose of this forum. I'm 66 and have been a fan of the boats since my first viewing of TWE probably 55 years ago. Have built the various model kits available over my younger years. Currently I have a 1/16th scale RC Higgins that was a scratch build from plans by Al Ross that I run at our local club pond. I am in the process of building a 1/16th 85' ASR boat also from Al's plans. Nice sharing ideas with you also, looking forward to more of the same, take care.

I should also have mentioned that my interest in boats in general began early in my life riding with my uncle as a young child. My wife and I enjoy cruising the San Joaquin delta in our 26' Eliminator deep-v, and I have fun with my guy friends when I run our 17' 10" Cole TR-2 runnerbottom drag boat, it's a restored survivor from 1979.
