Hi shipmates!
Last month in late may, videographer Chad Booth and his crew came down to tour the PT658 in her current state of repair. Chad updated his video from 2007 with a couple of new interviews and also shows the boats current condition. Chuck Kellogg, our skipper is also rather eloquent in illustrating our plight to the public. Click on this link to view the video, I think you will be pleased with the way it came out. Thanks you all! Roy, we have a couple of possibilities being considered but I dont want to say anything that may result in a backfire. I will let youknow when we have something more certain.

Hi David,
We are making lots of progress. The Stbd side forward below the chine is ready for outer planks. The fwd port side is nearly ready for outer planking after rebuilding the chine. The new aft port chine is installed now, and working on the transom log installation next. We are having Shipwright Jim Lyons come down from Port Townsend next week to complete the outer planking. Still need to install the steel angle iron tie straps connecting the longitudinal stringers to each frame on the inside of the boat, and then complete reconstructing all transverse bulkheads We can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Thanks for asking!
