It's been a while sense I 've posted. I've been busy working on Frank's PT 302. Here is a slight progress report. I bought the 1/32 Higgins plans from Al Ross and had them downsized by 91.4 % to make them 1/35. Than cut the bulkheads and sideview out and glued them to 1/8' ply wood. Glued everyk thing together and covered with Bass wood sheets and Balsa blocks. Right now I'm shaping anmd measuring. Next step is laminating .015' plastic sheets on the hull.

Nice work Bob, and great foundation using Al's plans. I bet you'll like the boat so much that Frank will have to wait for the 2nd one!

Jeff, please don't say that, you'll make a grown man cry, lol. I think it looks great, and if any of you wonderful model builders out there have any tips or anything of use that Bob can use, don't hesitate, I always appreciate hearing from you guys on any build..................

Frank;
Do you see those models in the background of Bobs photos? Are those for you too?
Take care,

What your looking at in the background is PT 41, 109, 196 and 596 in 1/72. They were shelved so I could work on the 1/35 boats so I could learn how to detail the smaller ones better, and now thanks to the knowage I've gained from the 1/35 kits, this Fourm and all of you fine folks I can finish them, if I ever get the time. I certainly got what I ask for, Thanks...
