I BELIEVE MOST OF THESE PHOTOS ARE OF ORMOC IN 1945. EARL CAN CORRECT ME OR EMBELLISH AS HE WISHES.
THIS ONE WOULD BE A BEAUTY IN COLOR, DON'T YOU THINK.
A JAP BARGE ON THE BEACH. WHAT TYPE IS THIS ?
THE LAUNDRY GIRLS AT ORMOC
PREVIOUSLY SHOWN, THIS PICTURE HAS THE LAUNDRY, I THINK UNDER THE WHITE TENTS. IS THAT CORRECT EARL ?
JAP PRISONERS
THE CREW OF THE 108 AT ORMOC. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THIS AS I THINK EARL IS IN THIS PHOTO ( ? )

Very cool Earl, and thank you Steve for posting them. Earl, those girls are cute, I bet they were even cuter after being in either a boat or a jungle for so long.
Yes Steve, I bet that was a gorgeous sunset. Probably the calm before the storm, wonder if it was shot on the way out to patrol?
Did you take these pictures Earl? Besides the one with maybe you in it of course.

It's a 14m Daihatsu, the standard Japanese Army landing craft.
