Gents;
For some reason I am having problems posting photos on the photobucket, to bring them over for posting here, but......
Looking at Page 53 of "ELCO 80 Foot PT Boat on Deck" Squadron #5605
shows a B/W interior shot of the charthouse looking towards the ladder to the cockpit.
On page 38 is a color shot of PT 617's cockpit area with the hatch open.
As I have mentioned I "opened" up the charthouse hatch on my model, well looking at the model's original hatch, which I "opened" with a hot xacto knife, It looks like the center of the hatch had a section which opened. The interior B/W shot looks like a screened panel was in the hatch.
But the color shot of 617, looks like a full screen interior "door" was used.
Does anyone have BETTER photos of the Charthouse Hatch? Open preferably.
Thanks,
TED
