I attended the funeral of my good friend Walter Rogal today. He was buried at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetary. Walter was on the USS VARUNA and attached with Squadron 27. He was an Electricians mate. Walter was very proud of his time spent with the squadron and will be missed by his family and friends. If any of you might remember walter, please give me a shout. By the way the service was wonderful and included 2 US NAVY SAILORS who folded the Flag and presented it to Walters daughter. Outside, they fired three volly's from 6 Color Guard, then played taps. It was an honor to be there.
