Garth;
I never heard of it, but if you have a photo please post it, because my Mom's maiden name is FitzGerald. Does this place still exisit? I am heading to Nawlens this year, and will try to meet the 305 guys.
Take care,
TED

Randy,

Hi ... My paternal grandmother's family owned it right into the 1980s. Supposedly, my grandmother's father or uncle was also postmaster in "N'Awlins" too.

Also, her brother while in the COAST GUARD would run the PTs from the Higgins plant to the port of New Orleans (and I think he tested PT-6 too because he'd tell me of a 81 foot PT as a kid).

As an aside, my "kissin' Cousins down there run SEVEN OAKS PLANTATION as a B & B.

Yes, I'd gather as much. But, I was just wondering if any PT-ers went there during the war, ....

Ted,

No, I don't have a photo, but, my mother has one upstairs but when I switched to my laser printer - I gave up scanning capabilities. And, as everyone knows, I'm not that comfortable with photos here.

But, that Bob from the 305 group said that Katrina took it out.
