For those familiar with my PT-157 model and the book about making it (PT-157: A Scale Model Builder's Notebook), I've completed three more details. This is the last on my list of to-dos details for the 157 (or so I think).

If you want to see these three new details you can go to:
http://www.pt-157.com/products.htm

When prompted for the password copy/paste this phrase (not inlcuding the quote marks):
2013 Commemorative Edition pages

Those purchasing the book through Amazon (US) will get the commemorative edition that includes these new pages (ah, the wonder of the new world of publishing that allows us to update, correct and/or modify at will!).

P.S. This summer coming up is the 70th anniversary of the critical PTs' push back of the Japanese in the Solomons. For RON-9 this is the months they spend at Rendova and Lever Harbor. As of now the Skipper of the PT-157, William F. (Bud) Liebenow is scheduled to do a book signing at Pages Book Store and Coffee Shop in Mt. Airy N.C. on Memorial Day to start this anniversary!

As always, thanks to the people on this board for their help and thoughtfulness at every turn!

Wonderful job Bridge, your attention to detail is incredible. I love the added mast, which just adds to the beauty of your PT-157 model. The included how to do steps will certainly benefit the model builders on this site.....................

Hi Bridge,
Unfortunately the link did not work. When I selected the blue text I only got a gray screen. Would love to see your update.

Dave - I just sent it to your Comcast email account.

I also noticed that my posted message says 'not including the quotation marks' however I see none in the post itself although I had them in there originally. I guess somewhere in the posting process they may have gotten striped out.

I also misspelled 'including' in my instructions. I need to wear my glasses even when not modeling!!

Update:

I was asked on this original post if I planned to be the book signing of 'FIRST-UP' with Skipper Bud Liebenow (PT-157) signing books at Pages Books & Coffee in Mt. Airy, NC on this coming Memorial Day.

I can't think of any better place to be.This being the 70th anniversary of the big push-back summer of '43 in the Solomons, this is a great time to spend with Bud and his wife Lucy! For those not so familiar with their PT history, among other remarkable missions, Bud and his crew on the PT-157 rescued the survivors of the PT-109 in early August that summer.

The answer is yes, I will be there signing away with Bud.
