Some photos probably would be familiar to you, but some I think a very rare. I was searching for Vosper photos for about a year, but some of photos I found may be a month ago.
There is one very good site www.tsushima.su The only problem is that it's completely in Russian language.
So here are some photos posted at that forum:
Vosper boats in Stambul Turkey during return by SU Black Sea fleet 1954:
Vospers are BPT, not exactly the one I need, but transom with mufflers could be seen.
There are some other boats not familiar to me. I think their photos would be useful too. |

This are from RGAKFD (Russian State Archive of Photo Documents) Original photos must be much better. Vosper:
Higgins:
I think that there is chance to get a copy of some photos in that archive. But they are not for free. |

Despite the image quality, what great photos!! I've only seen one of them before, that of the bow view of the Higgins boats. The first photo in the series is interesting as it is of the 63' MIAMI Design 293 PTCs. Haven't seen many of them, particularly in Soviet service.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR LETTING US VIEW THESE PHOTOGRAPHS. I PARTICULARLY LIKE THE 110 FOOT SUBCHASER LEADING THE TWO HIGGINS BOATS.
