I know, sounds strange however this is an important question. I need to know if there were any seagulls that hung around the PT bases throughout the Solomons or New Guinea during the war. They seem to be everywhere, however that might not be a place I would choose to land and relax during that time. You see, it becomes an issue in my PT 623 DVD that I have started. Man I can't wait to see what is going to be coming my way on this one.

Roy, I don't have to tell you how many hundreds of different birds there are in the Pacific or Tropical Islands. As far as I know, Seagulls per say, are not very frequent in the Islands, although there are what is called the Swallow Tailed Gulls that can be found in New Caledonia. I have never really heard of Sea Gulls being in those areas.

OK, thanks for the info, I guess I should ask if any of those tropical birds sounded like seagulls. Get where I'm going with this Frank?
