In my other post I said I would like to model the 121 boat, when it was in RON 6.
Now I can't seem to find any info for this RON. Any info or links from the "Experts"?

Hi Bill,
Looking at the info listed under the tab labeled "Headquarters" and then "Knights of the Sea PT Boat Information" on this same website, is listed the basic info about RON6. I copied it to here for your reading pleasure. Jerry

Bll:
PT 121 was placed into service August 27, 1942. It went to Norfork for final fitting out and then to Panama, enroute to Noumea and Cairnes with the expectation that they would end up in the Solomons. On December 2 they were transferred into Division SEVENTEEN and towed by USS Tulsa to Milne Bay on New Guinea, arriving mid-December. They functioned there and were transferred into Ron EIGHT April 1st, remaining in those waters as they fought their way up the coast.
So, their time in Ron SIX, per sey, was primarily fitting out and movement towards Cairnes. The boat was commanded by Edward Bergin and his ExO was Walter Robbins. Their fighting was done under the banner of Lt. Baughman's Div SEVENTEEN (yes, a part of Ron SIX) and Lt. Comdr. Atkin's Ron EIGHT.
