I'm looking for one of these books for the 78' Higgins. They exist for the 80' ELCO, but I've yet to find one for the Higgins. Anyone hoarding one?

Hey Doctor Al! Last year when I went to the National Archives, I found the original contract for the PT625-PT660. In the contract on page 2 in the 3rd paragraph on the 6th line, it lists the Name of the book listing the criteria the factory must build the boats according to. It is called "Detail Specifications for building Motor Torpedo boats PT625 class....." I think this is probably the official name of the book you are looking for? Jerry

Hey guys,
Did anybody notice the cost of a single PT625 class Higgins PT Boat when brand new? $132,762.44 each, pretty cheap for such an awesome boat! I bet Randy and the guys in New Orleans wished they could get that same deal today...Jerry

Oh, I guess you didn't hear, Jerry. I spent all of my extra cash buying the 658 boat. I'm having her moved to Arizona.
