Got an interesting package in the mail today. Garth had offered to have about 1300 pages of material from Stan Barnes copied if I covered the cost, which I did. I've only glanced at it, but think it will be well worth having. Included were lengthy transcripts of Naval War College oral history interviews, a bunch of personal paperwork, many pages of RON15 war diaries and action reports, and an unfinished manuscript covering RON15's activities.
I'll be reading through this stuff a little at a time and will offer tidbits as they appear...
