I just received my 2 new 109 kits in a very damaged and punctured shipping box. I held my breath as I open it to reveal 2 awesome boats in perfect shape. My first stop was the nice history pamphlet and on the very first page and there it was ! Well done David, Frank, Dick, Jeff, Gene and anyone else that might have had a hand in this stellar kit. Now the only dilemma I have is what 2 boats these will become. Great job guys.

With that new room Roy, you could build a whole Squadron of boats. Glad you didn't have damaged kits, and thank you for the kudos.

Roy;
Just between me and you, A Chief Petty Officer in my Navy will not have too much problem!! Especially, after you made that beautiful PT 623. How long is it? What is the hull fiberglass or balsa? The reason I ask, I really want to eventually make a balsa/bass wood R/C PT in 1/10th scale, yes 8 feet, just like the 168 model of the 1990's.
Take care,
TED

Thank you for your kind words on my PT 623 project. She is done in 1/16 scale making her 5 feet long. The entire boat is made from Baltic Birch with all the deck structures and weapons made out of brass or Evergreen plastic. I will be posting a new set of "General Quarters" photos next week and I now have all the on-board video shot for the upcoming DVD project. More on that soon. Wanna go for a ride?
