I figured I'd open the Dragon Quad Gun Trailer kit I just got today and share with you its contents.

This kit is taken directly from the Draqgon M-16 kit and has M-16 on the parts trees. You also get the M-16 kit's clear styrene parts on the cardboard sheet with the PE brass strip with bolt detail for the bottom of the turret.

You get five parts trees. Two of these are duplicates and they contain the .50 calbre machine gun parts and magazines. You get 4 guns with hollow slide moulded muzzles, 4 spare barrels, 4 receiver covers and 12 magazines. You need four more magazines if you want to fill the two magazine racks on PT-195. One tree builds the turret, another builds the trailer and the final one is the gunner.

Also included are 4 small parts that simulate .50 calibre ammo that fit between each gun and magazine in the turret.

A complete figure is included to go inside the gun turret. He can be converted to a PT crewman. I wonder though. Did the turret gunner wear a lifejacket whilst in the turret? I wonder if there was enough room?

The assembly seems to be pretty straight forward although I have not yet started to assemble this kit.

Cheers

PTB,

Maybe the quad .50 gunner would've worn a blue Mae West, or one of those inflatable waist lifebelts, which would have left him a lot more room in that turret's seat.

Either would've been a lot less bulky than the standard kapok life jacket.

Ahoy there Jerry.

I'd be very happy to post some images except I can't remember how to do that, can't find the file I save telling how to that or find the instrutions on how to that here on this site.

If you know how please tell me and I'll post some images for you and others interested in this turret.

Cheers

Hi Peter,
I think our illustrious webmaster, Dick Washicheck posted a very informative and easy to understand video of exactly how to do this. Maybe Dick can help remind us all where the link to this video tutorial is? I forgot! But it really is easy to do once you watch the video. Thanks Jerry

I had no trouble before following the text instructions that, IIRC, used to be at the top of the forum page. I just can't find them now.

Cheers

Thanks Dick.

Just wondering.

Isn't the text version no longer available anywhere?

Cheers

The text version was pretty much out of date because the design of the PhotoBucket website has changed dramtically. But for diehards here is the .PDF lin for the early text instructions - click the link the PDF should load up in your browser, or Right Click the link and save to your computer:

Thanks Dick.

I'll take some images of the parts when it gets light outside later today. If I can't upload them I'll send the images to you.

I wonder if the images I upload when I first jined up here are still there?

Cheers from Peter
