Here are a few photos of the newly completed dock for PT 623. Thank goodness it has cooled off down on the Colorado River and I can get started taking some new shots along with collecting some on-board still & video.

Thanks for all the awesome comments guys. I really appreciate them. I’ll be posting some photos of the boat at General Quarters next week. The dimensions of the dock are 5 feet long by 6 inches wide with the access ramp another 3 feet that adjusts to the angle of the dock to the shore for a total of 8 feet. The pilings are 12 inches high but the dock rests on 2 large spikes that are pressed into the riverbed. This allows me to level and adjust the height of the dock in relationship to the boat when the angle of the riverbed changes. These spikes are visible in the last photo. Can’t have a crew member rolling off the dock into the drink.
