Bid on and won on eBay a partial set of plans for what eventually became PT 810 (thanks, Frank), which arrived today. There were three large blueprints (white line on blue) for the Outboard Plan and Profile, Shafts & Struts, and Lines & Offsets. One of the more interesting aspects of these plans is they list them as being applicable to all four experimental boats (809-812), which, of course, they aren't. The design is credited to Sparkman & Stephens and Bath with dates during April 1947.

Kinda cool... They came from a boatbuilder down in Boothbay Harbor and he thinks he has some more stuff. Hopng to hear from him soon.

Al -

Wonder if those are the same ones I have -
BuShps S0103-105085 in 3/16" dated 9 January, 1963
Sheets 1,3,6,7 of 8

They are labeled PTF-1.

Also one General Arrangement layout in 1/4" from Floating Drydock, same date and also labeled PTF-1.

Nope, although it is the same boat. Mine are S0101-601228, 601232, & 601235. Two are 1/2" = 1', third varies. All are from 1947.

I think the 1/4" PTF-1 GA is one I drew for them many, many years ago. If you can, scan a piece of it so I can see if it is my work.

Of course, we have lots of PT 810 drawings on the CD.

Al

I have partial sets for PT 812 and (I think) 809.
