GENTS;
I know Fyfe's installed muffler's and did prop work and also painting, but reading this "new" website's original RON paperwork(o.k. new to me), it seems RON 38 spent almost all of JAN 1945 at Fyfe's, and mostly on the marine railway! PT 569(Carlton Byrd's Boat) for example was either doing SO-3 radar navigation exercises locally (to Fyfe's) or on the marine railway. Any ideas???? I can understand early and mid ELCO RON's but this late???? Did Fyfe's install SO-3 radar as a contract out item?

FYI;
Again spoke too soon!!! Fyfe's was a little more involved than we thought. FEB 1-6 1945; PT 565-570 moored or on Marine railways for completion of hull and armament installations.
