I'm a newby on this board and hoping to locate Type D4 wobble pumps. There are some out there and we need two of them for the 305.

The manufacturer was Aero Supply Inc., and of course they have gone out of business. We might settle for other models if they accept 1ID piping.

HF,
You may want to check parts supply websites that stock Warbird parts for P51 P40 B17 and etc. I have had good luck finding several parts for PT658 over the last few years at places like that. Good luck. Jerry PT658 Portland OR

HF,
I found this on http://www.warbird-parts.com/
Jerry

G-634 Romec wobble pump, Type D-2-A, PD 4370-1, used - good condition $ 85.

G-635 Romec wobble pump, type D-2, used - good condition $ 75.

Also this! (I wonder if Randy has seen this?)

G-805 Rolls Royce/Packard Merlin V-1650-1, this engine was produced for the Hurricane fighter plane, has been restored cosmetically to "as new" condition, detailed with all new hardware & magnetos, custom built roll-around stand $11,700.

G-806 Packard marine engine, 4M-2500 series, originally built to power the PT boats of WWII, originally 1100 HP to 1550 HP, this was converted to be used in a Garwood race boat known as "Miss America VIII", this engine powered the "Miss America VIII" from the mid 1980's to the late 1990's, a piece of history! $ 8,200.

Thanks again Jerry, I have been in touch with Jay and he is out of stock of 1 port wobble pumps. The Packard for sale is something I shall pass on to Randy, I would be surprised if he didn't know about it already.

Would you know which aircraft had 1 fuel lines?

Thank you for your help Jerry. The valve hunt took me to a aircraft dealer who fixed me up with wobble pumps and selector valves. They are serviceable and need to be cleaned up. My next search is for the fuel guages. The interesting thing about these Liquidometer Corp. Levelometers is they are pneumatic operated. I learn something new every day about the workings of the PT boat. These are going to be a tough find indeed because most aircraft fuel guages were electric.
