I am just curious about something. Arn't we all? Does any forum member know what happened to PT 8, the aluminum hull boat. According to F.D. Johnson, P23 it survived the war. What a neat looking boat. It is a shame it is not in a museum someplace.

I believe this was for sale several times, although I am not sure if it was ever sold to anyone. I have photos of the boat when it was for sale, you can E Mail me if you want and I will send them to you.

I think it should be donated to a Museum where they can restore it. After all it is a large part of PT BOAT HISTORY, ugly or not.

It is a crying shame we spend so much of our tax dollars overseas and not enough on our history.
