Guys;
Uncle Mao was a PT Boater too!! Who knew??? Look at the tenth photo!!!!! He brought his girlfriend for a spin too!!!
Thought you might enjoy seeing the various similarities you can see in the photos of these boats. I knew the Russians sold designs in aircraft technology, but it looks like they sold some of our designs used in PT Boats as well.
Take care,
TED

You guys are picking on me, and I couldn't find the photo. When I went to the site, it said it doesn't exist.

Funny you guys, although my hair is important to me, getting the mist in it from a PT BOAT ride, would be no problem, trust me. FUNNY DICK, lol..............

The photo is not a surprise when you consider that the PLAN (Peoples Liberation Army Navy) was comprised of only MTBs for decades. The fact that the Army controlled the Navy provides a perspective of why they only bought MTBs. The same arguement that General MacArthur used.

The ELCO-like boat is a Soviet Projekt 183; a P6 in NATO speak. If you look at the hull lines, it doesn't appear to have been influenced by the 80' ELCO.
