I spoke with Alex Johnson's Wife this evening, a conversation that was very emotional for me and her. One of the things she wanted me to pass along to all of you on this message board was that any donations should be made in memory of "ALEX JOHNSON, and sent to PT BOATS INC. Alex loved this organization so it's only fitting that we do our part for ALEX. Also if any of you are in the Virginia area, there will be a MEMORIAL SERVICE for ALEX:

Friday : July 13th
Time : 11:00 am
St. Christopher Church
Hanover Avenue
Springfield, Virginia

If you need directions, you can look this up online, as not being from the area, I really do not know. Thank You to everyone on the board......

Frank;
Is there an online legacy site? So our brothers here can post there messages, if they can't make the service.

Some recent memories of Alex captured in photos I wish to share.
Frank

Alex posing with the master, Stan Pienkowski at my house. This was one of the proudest moments for Alex, as he built me this beautiful PT-41 for my Springfield Museum Exhibit. It was all he talked about that year.

Alex and Stan work to button up PT-41, as Stan takes the final measurements for the case.

The first PT Boat get together with, Stan (left) Alex and John Molnar at my house. We had a great day.

A special time for Alex and me. This was the day Alex drove from Virginia with our PT-374 Memorial project. This took over a year, with Alex putting it all together. He was very proud of his efforts, as was I. We had another great time together. I shall miss him.......
