Hello Earl, Guess you may as well let the docs do their work as long as you are confined to quarters in the hospital. As you know from experience, rest will come later after you get out of there. In the meantime, we are thinking of you and praying all goes well and that you are back on the board real soon.

Hi all - just talked with Earl and he sounds pretty good! he hopes to get out of the hospital today and of course is anxious to get home. hopefully he will be able to get some in-home services. his big fear is not being able to drive again - especially not being able to go the the American Legion and the casino! I'm sure his buddies will get him there!

Glad your doing better Earl. It appears you have a fantastic support group.
Colleen, I noticed you have a Ron 16 patch on your I.D.. My father was in Ron 16. May I ask, what your relationship is and with who?

Hi Mike - My uncle was on PT 300, RON 16.
If you have any information on PT 300 I would love to hear about it - or if you have any pictures!
Thanks
Colleen

Colleen,
The only pictures I have are of the 221 and 224.
What was your uncles name and rank?
I will post if I discover anything about the 300.

His name was Joseph Miles Brunner. He was MM/1c.
I recently obtained some records - one of which is the official report of his death. i was wondering if i should post it - i look at it as historical information - some might think it is inappropriate.
any thoughts on this from anyone?
