The ones I have say Model TCS-12, which was pretty much the standard lightweight Radio's used in PT BOATS, SHIPS, LANDING CRAFT, and other Navy vessels.........

Is this the same model radio used on PT boats? This picture was taken on the USS Batfish on display in Oklahoma.

I have never seen this type of Radio in a PT BOAT. Most if all had the TCS System because of the light-weight and durability. I have learned however to never say never, so who knows if one of these might have been in some patrol boat somewhere, although I doubt this radio was in any American PT BOAT.

Hi Russ,
Here is a picture of the radios on PT631, they are Collins TCS-11 or -12 just like Frank said. I found the model numbers of the individual components as follows: Transmitter = COL 52245 Reciever = COL 46159 Remote Control Unit = COL 23270 and Antenna Loading Coil = COL 47205 I hope this is helpful. Jerry
