Well, it's May and Memorial Day is coming. So I thought I kick off the upcoming holiday with a new section to the book 'PT-157: A Scale Model Builders Notebook'.

For some time now I had comments that the 157 model needed a mast. As I said in the book, neither of the surviving crewmen from the summer of '43 remember if they had one or had tossed it.Well I've succumbed to the logic of good people like Victor Chun and Nat Smith that if one is not sure, then I did need to put one on the 157.

So here is a downloadable DRAFT of the new section about the building of the mast.

Go to the webpage and scroll to the bottom:
http://www.pt-157.com/products.htm

You will see in light blue text PT-157 A Scale Model Builder's Notebook, New mast, Section 28 v2- protected.pdf. Click on this text and download it. When you go to open PDF on your PC it will ask for a password. Enter: Liebenow is the skipper and it will open

I appreciate feedback on errors, wording and other crippled phraseology that seems to be part of my style. I'm not a writer, but I do work at putting out what I can. You can send the comment to the same email (Bridge@PT-157.com). Someday I just may incorporate this section into the book formally but for now it's for your viewing pleasure.

I'll keep this download available through Memorial Day.

Memorial Day, for all us to remember all those that went, and especially those that never came back.

Nice Bridge, I especially like the anchor light lens.

The only thing that I noticed missing is the yard arm fill between the mast legs.
