I am very excited that JERRY GILMARTIN will be taking the time to stop at my house this Sunday. Jerry called me and asked to stop over, and I love to talk PT BOATS and show some of my Exhibit items, so it was a no brainer. If any of you guys are ever in the Massachusetts area, just give me a shout, and I would be happy to set up a visit. Now I have to go out and get some snacks and food for the visit, should be a fun day..............

Is there some unit of the Navel SP's that can be reactivated for duty?

I know from what I have read in these posts that the Mass. State Patrol does NOT have the manpower for both of these two in the same state at the same time in the same city let alone the same house!

May you both enjoy the companianship.

Hi Frank,
I just spent 8 hours straight at Battleship Cove visiting with Don Shannon. We went through every inch of those boats! I sure have a new appreciation for all the stuff Don has to deal with every day. We also have worked out a list of projects we both need help with and see if both of our groups can be mutually helpful to the overall cause. I also cannot wait to visit with Frank. I have to catch my plane back on Monday so we cant spend too much time Sunday, 8 hours is my limit! It was raining cats and dogs when I arrived Weds night in Providence, but today was beautiful! I hope to visit USS Constitution and Boston Red Sox game on Friday then USS Salem on Saturday. Here are some pics of my visit with some details I was interested in seeing. Jerry

Its just a dream, your still at home! According to the date on the photos, you won't see Don until June 9th 2012!!
Take care,

As I sit here Sunday morning waiting for Jerry to show up, I went on You-Tube, where I saw a 1/16th scale paper Elco PT BOAT. I never ever saw one of these before. It looks pretty cool, and I have to have one. Anyone know where these things might be located............

Frank will like the one in disruptive aka zeba pattern camouflage. I didn't know that PT 73 was an 80 foot Elco boat. Am I wrong in thinking that the 80 footers started with P|T 103?

Cheers
