Steve;
Thats why I text you. You would know, If a RON 15 boat was not close, I believe PT 242 might have the " most patrols 12 month period All-Time record". However, I am still wondering what boat has the most patrols total from 1942-1945. If I was to make a guess: a RON5, RON 7, RON 8, RON 9, or RON 12 boat.
But as I said this is all guessing, until somebody does the research, we will never know.
Take care,
TED

I think I remember the 204 being the most patrolled boat from a caption in the Ron 15 exhibit on the USS Mass. @ Battleship Cove. Don has the boat's flag framed and put in a place of honor - the flag is torn and shows a lot of use. I'll have to go through my photos from the last time I was there and double check...

Ted: I have a copy of MR. Raney's daily diary that is how I know how many patrols we made. When we were relieved of duty he states in the diary that he had the most patrols of any officer in Ron 19.
Ted I would think some boats from Ron 20 or Ron 23 would have about as many patrols as we did. They were patroling a lot with us.
