Perhaps a 265 series, maybe even a Ron 22 boat. No particular reason.
If I was to pick a number, maybe the 305. That number just pops into my head for some reason.

The 1/32 Lindberg PT troubles and inaccuracies are long and known by most. The most obvious are the problems with the bow and its resemblance more of the 77' boat than the 80 footer. The stern being a little to wide, not to mention all the above deck line inaccuracies. One of the biggest is the lack of hull flair along the length of the boat. Easier to get out of an injection mold i guess? The Higgins doesnt have a lot of notable hull flair down its length either. So fix the bow and rebuild from the deck line up and you got a reasonably accurate Higgins! The Lindberg PT 109 is what it is! A 1/32 PT boat model when for the longest time it was the only thing in town. Now you have Italerie and its mixed blessing offerings and a FG hull in 1/32 of a 80' and 77' from microglass! Than theres the Dumas PT boats, A whole another set off issues to deal with!!!!!

How about PT 809. I know the drawings for it are harder to find than hen's tooth. However,
thanks to Al and Dick, I managed to print the profile and deck plans in my vol. II
page 189. From it I hope some expert modeler with imagination can scratch this one of a
kind model. By the way, I have no more drawings of PT 809.

Hey...
Anybody know what the original, full name of naval destroyers was?
"Torpedo boat destroyers."
You could look it up!

Will that's a very nice job you did on this build. Seems a bit dusty though, I would feel very comfortable if you sent it my way, along with the 10 year promised PT-109. Stan would give it an update, with a new case and base, lmao. Hey, I'm always trying buddy.

Hi there.
It would be interesting to see which cam out first from Lindberg - the 1/20 scale Chris Craft Constellation (finally re-released but at a whopping $150.00) or the 1/32 PT-109. The 109 does have the same hull as the Constellation but it looks like the Constellation hull has a built up section at the bow and along the sides. The helm in the 109 kit is also better suited to a 1/20 crsuiser like the Constellation.
I like the decks of the 78' Elco and of the Higgins.
I have lots of sheet styrene I scavenged from an old shower stall. Maybe I`ll build a deck of the Elco and the Higgins and use the one I like best.
Cheers

Don't worry, Frankie. I am keeping them safe for you. I figure there is no hurry, since Stan won't have time to work on anything until about 2019.

Hey Will you have that right, I think Stan might just kill me if I bring one more project to his house. I can tell you this, Stan will complete the WWII PT BOAT RIDE ON SCOOTER first, then start our PT-66 PROJECT...............
